The direct distribution of the National Initiative bonds to citizens will begin at the beginning of 2027.

The Head of the National Investment Authority, Adel Al-Yasiri, confirmed today, Tuesday, that Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi will start distributing the " وطن" initiative bonds to citizens in early 2027, explaining that the Development Fund will finance the infrastructure for the new modern cities. Al-Yasiri stated in a statement published by the Investment Authority that "Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi will begin distributing the " وطن" initiative bonds to citizens at the beginning of 2027." He added that "the Prime Minister has formed a committee to create integrated modern cities over an area of 10,000 dunams and it has been referred to an international consulting office." He pointed out that "the Development Fund will finance the infrastructure for the new modern cities," clarifying that "some ministries will relocate to new sites within the modern cities." He affirmed that "the Generations Fund will turn into an investment institution with significant capital and its returns will be invested in major projects," adding, "We have pledged to Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi to successfully complete the one million residential land plot project."
