The head of the National Security Agency, Basem Al-Badri, emphasized the need to intensify awareness campaigns to protect families and society from emerging risks during his visit to the Baghdad International Book Fair and the agency's participating wing.

The agency stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that Al-Badri was briefed during the tour on the main informative and awareness activities provided by the agency to citizens, which highlight its security and service efforts in maintaining internal stability.

The head of the agency stressed, according to the statement, the central role of the awareness efforts carried out by the formations, directing them to enhance preventive and proactive measures to reduce cyber crimes, especially electronic blackmail and financial fraud, in addition to combating all forms of other crimes that affect the safety and security of citizens.
