The Meteorological Authority announced today, Sunday, the details of the weather conditions in the country over the next four days, forecasting a decrease in temperatures, clouds, and rain in the north.
A statement from the authority, received by the News Video Agency, indicated that "tomorrow, Monday, the weather will be clear in the central and southern regions, partly cloudy in the northern region with a chance of scattered rain showers that may be thunderous in some areas, and temperatures will drop a few degrees in the central and northern regions, while rising slightly in the southern region compared to the previous day."
The statement continued, saying that "the maximum temperatures for tomorrow, Monday, in all provinces of Iraq will be as follows: Duhok 38, Sulaymaniyah 37, Nineveh and Kirkuk 41, Erbil and Anbar 40, Baghdad and Wasit 42, Salahuddin, Diyala, Karbala, Babel, Najaf, and Diwaniya 43, and Maysan and Dhi Qar 44, while Al-Muthanna and Basra will be 46."
It added that "on Tuesday, the weather will generally be clear, and temperatures will decrease slightly in the northern and southern regions and remain close in the central region."
It indicated that "next Wednesday's weather will be clear in the central and northern regions and partly cloudy in the southern region, with temperatures being similar in the central region, dropping slightly in the northern region, and rising slightly in the southern region."
The statement clarified that "Thursday's weather will generally be clear with some clouds in the southern region, and temperatures will rise slightly overall compared to the previous day."
