The Iranian Foreign Ministry documents evidence of Washington's use of chemical weapons in the Lamerd events.

The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baghaei, confirmed today, Saturday, the documentation of conclusive evidence proving that the United States deliberately tested new chemical weapons in the city of Lamerd.

Baghaei stated in a press conference followed by the Video News Agency that Washington's admission of testing a new missile, coupled with field evidence, refutes American justifications and proves that a crime has been committed against civilians.

Independent investigations conducted by the Ministry of Health indicated the use of chemical materials in weapons to increase their lethality and compile all documents related to the war crime.

It has been decided to hold a meeting of foreign ministers of the Gulf states next Monday to inform the countries in the region about the results of consultations and agreements reached with the Sultanate of Oman regarding temporary maritime corridors in the Strait of Hormuz.
