Finance Minister Faleh Sari chaired a meeting of the budget preparation committee immediately upon his return from New York.

A statement from the ministry received by the news agency Video News clarified that the meeting was held to review the federal budget draft for 2027 and to complete its requirements, in preparation for sending it to the Council of Ministers soon.

He added, "The minister directed to continue working at a brisk pace and to complete the reviews and procedures related to the budget items according to the specified timelines."
