Al-Halbousi receives Zebari to discuss the outstanding issues between the federal government and Kurdistan.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Haibet al-Halbousi, discussed today, Wednesday, the political situation and developments of regional and international files with a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party headed by Hoshyar Zebari.

The media office of the Speaker of the House stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that the meeting emphasized the importance of enhancing dialogue between political forces and working to address the outstanding files between the federal government and the Kurdistan Region in accordance with the constitution, which strengthens stability.

It clarified that both sides addressed the importance of enhancing coordination and cooperation among political blocs within the House of Representatives, which contributes to activating the legislative and oversight roles.

Both sides confirmed their commitment to completing priority laws that meet the needs of citizens and support joint cooperation.
