The Prime Minister, Ali Falah Al-Zaydi, discussed today, Saturday, with a delegation from the Reconstruction and Development parliamentary bloc, led by Bahea Hussein Al-Araji, the general situation in the country and the government's measures to implement its executive program, in addition to service files and funding for vital projects such as hospitals and border crossings.
Al-Zaydi emphasized during the meeting, according to a statement from his media office received by the Video News Agency, the important role of the Reconstruction and Development bloc as the largest parliamentary bloc, pointing to the importance of passing 44 draft laws in the House of Representatives, including the laws for the Food and Drug Authority, the Popular Mobilization, and the Internal Control Authority, as well as amending the Investment Law to support the developmental vision and provide infrastructure.
The head and members of the Reconstruction and Development bloc expressed their full and absolute support for the government in its steps to combat corruption and implement economic reforms, stressing the necessity of passing the Oil and Gas Law, and appreciating the Prime Minister's initiative regarding the project for one million residential plots.
