The examination of the wreckage from the U.S. military attack on a wedding ceremony in the mountainous Kohstek Serik area south of Iran revealed signs confirming the use of an advanced cruise missile of the AGM-84H/K SLAM-ER type.

Specialist sources told the news agency that the found parts, including electronic and thermal components and wing sections, led weapons experts to link them to the aforementioned missile, which the U.S. Navy classifies as part of long-range precision strike munitions capable of operating beyond line of sight.

The sources clarified that the missile's guidance system relies on GPS in its mid-course phase, while in the final phase, it is equipped with infrared imaging seekers to detect the target.

They pointed out that the missile allows direct guidance by a human element, known as Man-in-the-Loop technology, to confirm or adjust the target's hit in the final moments, thus demonstrating the use of Precision Strike techniques in targeting the location.
