The Video News Agency covered the second day of the Baghdad International Book Fair today, touring the halls of the exhibition and gathering opinions from several citizens, visitors, and writers regarding the organization and participating publications.
One of the participating writers at the fair told the Video News Agency that Iraqi publications for the new generation deserve support and an opportunity for local authors, pointing out that she is participating with her second novel titled "505," which highlights social conflicts and disputes arising from ethnic, sectarian, and cultural differences within a single family and society.
For her part, citizen Zainab mentioned in her talk with the Video News Agency that the organization of the current edition of the fair is characterized by calm and high organization, with reduced overcrowding compared to previous years, noting that the fair successfully provides diverse titles and books that readers were looking for in previous periods, catering to various intellectual and cultural interests.
