Iran denies planning a military response in kind to air restrictions and affirms the continuation of negotiations.

The Iranian Supreme National Security Council's secretariat denied today, Saturday, the claims that Iran would resort to a military response in retaliation for the recent air restrictions.

The secretariat stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that the dissemination of some incorrect interpretations and quotes from the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council's statements regarding air transport has led to questions and cases of ambiguity.

It clarified that serious negotiations are taking place between Iran and the relevant countries to lift some illegally imposed air restrictions, and they are being monitored continuously.

It continued that there are several non-military options for reciprocal responses, and if necessary, these will be applied to some airports, while emphasizing the hope that the situation does not reach this stage.
