Today, Friday, two matches were held at the end of the first day of the fifth round of the Iraq Stars League, where Duhok achieved a last-minute victory over Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, while Al-Kahrabaa drew with their guest Al-Gharaf without goals.
Duhok turned the tables on their guest Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya by winning two goals to one. The match took place at 9:00 PM at Duhok Olympic Stadium.
The first half ended with Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya leading one goal to none, scored by captain Saad Abdul Ameer in the minute. Duhok missed a penalty after Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya goalkeeper Mohammed Saleh excelled in saving the shot taken by Mahmoud Al-Mawas in the 45+3 minute.
In the second half, Duhok equalized from a penalty successfully executed by player Igor Henrique in the 65th minute, and Duhok scored the winning goal in the 90th minute through player Igor Henrique.
With this victory, Duhok raised their score to seven points, placing them in seventh place, while Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya's score remained stagnant at four points in 14th place.
In the second match, Al-Kahrabaa drew with their guest team Al-Gharaf without goals, and the match took place at the same time at Al-Zawraa Club Stadium, which is the virtual stadium for Al-Kahrabaa Club.
With this result, Al-Gharaf raised their score to five points in 13th place, while Al-Kahrabaa increased their score to four points in 15th place.
