U.S. President Donald Trump decided today, Friday, to fire the Director of the Office of the Presidency at the White House, Suzy Wiles.
Trump stated in a press release, followed by the News Video Agency, that it has been decided to appoint Stephen Miller as the new Chief of Staff of the White House starting Monday, replacing Suzy Wiles.
It is worth noting that the relationship between Trump and Wiles was very close politically, personally, and professionally, dating back to 2016 when Suzy Wiles worked on Trump's election campaign in Florida, helping to organize his campaign there. During the 2020–2024 period, she became one of his closest advisors, managing a significant part of his political operations, and in 2024, she co-led his campaign that brought him back to the presidency.
